"Are You Okay?"
Your Ballator stumbles upon Regale. It’s odd, seeing the Ballator out in the open, away from his Glade– especially without Aether to accompany him. It seems like Regale is searching for something, or maybe even running from something.
His breathing is heavy, his sides heaving. Sweat runs down Regale’s sides as he turns his wild gaze upon your Ballator. They notice that the iris of his left eye is tinged with a bright, aggravated red. At the base of Regale’s horns are strange red growths; small, but flashing brilliantly in time with his heartbeat.
“Take this,” Regale tosses one of the growths– was it from his own horns?!– at your Ballator’s hooves, “Destroy it any way you can. Whatever you do, do not keep it.”
Regale turns, hearing something your Ballator doesn’t, and like a flash he is gone, disappearing as only Regale does.
