Metallurgist, the Blacksmith

If learning how to craft and build items is something that speaks to you, then becoming an Metallurgist is the perfect option. As you learn to become a Metallurgist Master, you should take care in the paths you choose and plan ahead. If you fail to keep your eye on the detail, you may realize you forgot your way.

A Metallurgist is best equipped with the following stats:

  • Experience
  • Intelligence
  • Strength

Level One

 
  • Think back to a time when you were younger or perhaps just the other day. What was the first thing you attempted to create? Did it turn out alright? Was it useful or more like a decoration? 
    • Requirements: 5 stats
 
  • As an aspiring metallurgist you need to start somewhere. For you, that’s gathering supplies. Draw or write your ballator hunting a small animal or for cotton.
    • Requirements: 4 stats.
    • This prompt can double as a hunt but must follow the rules of the hunting system.

  • After your hunt, you stumble upon a metallurgist trying to sell their wares. What do you think of their items? Are they up to expectations or do they seem overpriced.
    • Requirements: 4 stats. A Group Horse or Metallurgist <aster must be depcited.
 
  • Using what you got from your hunt, attempt to craft something. Did you easily make the item or did it take a few tries. Is it still what you imagined or is it above your level?
    • Requirements: 5 stats
    • The item you gained from hunting may be anything you wish as long as it makes sense. The same goes for the item you are crafting.
 
 
  • Successfully craft 5 easy crafting items and 1 moderate item.

Prizes for Completing Level One:
  • One of the following: 1x small leather hide or 1x cotton fabric
  • One of the following: 1x small albino pelt or 1x small melanistic pelt
  • Adept Hooves
    • 0% fail rate on Easy crafting

    • 50% fail rate on Challenging crafting
    • 90% fail rate on Difficult crafting

Level Two

 
  • You’ve come to the realixation that in order to get better you must find a tracher to guide you. It’s just your luck because you happen to learn that there is a metallurgist looking to find a student. The question is, what do you bring them to prove your worth? Do you decide to make something brand new or do you have a special item to give up to them already?
    • Requirements: 4 stats.
 
  • You find the ballator that is wanting a student and present them your item. Just at your one meeting, you realized that there is a lot missing. This ballator has lots of interesting tools and even a designated workshop. What do you make of your new teacher and their workshop?
    • Requirements: 5 stats. A Group Horse or Metallurgist Master must be depicted.
  • The first task your teacher has you do is create your own tools. What tools do you choose to make? Do they help hold items? Do they help shape the items?
    • Requirements: 5 stats
 
  • With these new tools, you need new materials. Go mine for some metal, rock, or gems.
    • Requirements: 5 stats.

 

 
  • Successfully craft 4 moderate crafting items and 1 challenging item.

Level Three

 
  • Now that you have the new materials to work with, you need to find a different way to work with them. Metals need heat in order to work with them which requires fire. Create a fire and attempt to work with some metal. What do you make? Is it something useful or did it end up looking like abstract art?
    • Requirements: 4 stats
 
  • Your teacher finds you working at the fire. They seem impressed with your work and offer you input. They suggest that together you make smething more intricate: an armour set or a jewerly set. Which do your ballator choose to do? Is there ny reason for their choice?
    • Requirements: 5 stats. A Group Horsse or Metallurgist Master must be depicted.
  • After seeing your handiwork on the set you made, your teacher says that there is nothing they can teach you. However, there is just one last thing that you should do: create a new item that represents who you are. This can be a piece of jewerly you will wear, an emblem you hang on the wall, or maybe even a tool you will use. What it is is up to you!
    • Requirements: 4 stats.
 
  • As your last step of being a metallurgist, you need a specia place to do all of your crafting. Where is this place? What does it look like? Is there anything special to it?
    • Requirements:  5 stats. Minimum 100 word count for visual entries.
 
  • Successfully craft 3 challenging crafting items and 1 difficult item.

Metallurgist Mastery - Choose Your Specialty

It’s been a long tiring process and youre finally near the end. There’s just one last step you need to take before you’re considered a Master. 
Do you choose to go the route of light and follow in the paths of righteousness?
Or do you choose to go the route of darkness and follow in the path of injustice, following only yourself and those like you?

Bonum

To choose the path of light your ballator  is choosing to place their faith in Aether and Tyndariai. To demonstrate this, your ballator must craft a Badge of Light. To craft it, you will need the following:

  • 1x Cotton Fabric
  • 1x Albino Pelt
  • 1x Raspberry Extract
  • 1x Ash Wood
  • 1x Cosmic Crown
  • 1x Aquamarine

Use this form to turn these items to craft a Badge of Light and officially become an Andabata Bonum Master.

As an Metallurgist Bonum Master your ballator will get the following bonus:

  • Diamond Hooves
    • 0% fail rate on any kind of crafting (Can never fail in crafting an item

Malum

To choose the path of darkness your ballator  is choosing to place their faith in Hannibal and Ares. To demonstrate this, your ballator must craft a Badge of Darkness. To craft it, you will need the following:

  • 1x Small Leather Hide
  • 1x Small Melanistic Pelt
  • 1x Blueberry Extract
  • 1x Vine Wood
  • 1x Bone Crown
  • 1x Ruby

Use this form to turn these items to craft a Badge of Darkness and officially become an Andabata Malum Master.

As an Metallurgist Malum Master your ballator will get the bonus from Metallurgist Level 3 as well as:

  • Sly Hooves
    • Chance of some items back when crafting is successful
    • Guatanteed 1 item back when crafting is failed
