Some Changelog Info!
To better protect our admin team and members alike, I (Fade) have decided to implement a Changelog to better record our corrections and discussions so admins may link directly to this to show members that things have been fixed and discussed!
The Changelog will update every Friday as that is when Fade is most available to make changes and answer group notes. That is also the day that we check the Suggestion Box on the website!
How Can I Make a Suggestion/ Update Request?
There are currently Three Ways to make a suggestion for group betterment or to show a correction that needs to be made. They are listed in order of EFFICIENCY. The fastest way to contact the team is listed first.
- NOTE THE GROUP – The Group is not leaving DeviantART at this time and this is the best way for us to keep tabs on member suggestions and edits. If you post a Question in the Discord Chat you may be asked to send that question in to the group so it may be reviewed. It’s conclusion will be posted here and you will be tagged with a link to the changelog at that time.
- LEAVE A WEBSITE SUGGESTION – The Website Suggestion Box is anonymous to members and will be kept that way. You will not receive a tag telling you that the suggestion/ change has been made.
- LEAVE A DISCORD QUESTION OR SUGGESTION – You may ask a group related question in the #Questions channel on Discord, or leave a suggestion in the #Suggestion-Box channel. PLEASE NOTE: We have a “Don’t Block The Box” policy in the Discord Chat and most times, the suggestions will be left with no answer. Discussion is discouraged in that channel; please move discussion to the General Chat areas. Suggestions made on Discord are not anonymous and you will be tagged with a link to the changelog when they have been resolved.
June 2020 Changes
Friday June 5th
- Changelog records started.
- Updated the template for all future Newsletters to include a link to archived Changelogs. Will start with the July 2020 post.
- Edit permissions given to Renaakaii and Baylili00. Posts by these admins will be signed with MF:R and MF:B respectively.
- The Stat System and Stat Tracker Guide & Requirements were updated. Please check out the pages for more info. – MF:B
- The Stat System was updated to fit the new stat tracker rules (as of May 2020).
- New Rule added to the Stat System under “About Ranking Up” involving stat confirmation timeouts.
- New Rules added to the Stat Tracker Guide & Requirements involving stat rubrics and the plus symbol.
- Issue logging in to The Forums addressed by Admin Skellri via group notes.
- “hi! i’ve been having issues logging into my account on the new website. I get a message like this [LINK REMOVED] every time I try and log in. I’m thinking it’s my device (a chromebook) since it does let me log in on my iphone through safari, but using it on my phone makes it difficult to create trackers and add links and such. I will note though that one time I did manage to log in through incognito mode, but it won’t let me now. If it can’t be fixed, that’s no problem

- Admin Team Vote/ Discussion about reusable sketches. Unanimous vote was to not allow reused sketches to count for stats.

- Updated some confusing wording in The Hunting System. Admins BrynLison, Fade, & Kalmanen to review and streamline information over the course of next week for further member ease and to minimize confusion.

- Forum made for EBS/ UPFA trackers and added suggestion to add tournament trackers to member profiles/ hide stat tracker buttons to the coding doc provided to Kaons.
- “Not a priority or something big but I think it would be nice to have a space on here where we could put EBS/UPFA trackers for our ballators and have the ability to link it to our profile pages. Friday June 12th
- Clarification made in The Denarii Hub and about applying breeding items. See both pages for more info. -MF:B
- Any breeding items that need to be applied before a breeding is rolled (ie. fertilitea, forbidden love, ect.) need to be put in the breeding note. They no longer need to be applied through the Denarii hub. Item will be removed at the time of the breeding, and any breeding items send through the Denarii Hub will be declined
- Issue editing a Hunt Tracker thread. Specific thread was closed when it should have been open. -MF:B

- Per Kaons and Admin Skellri: Spamming the reset button causes the website to malfunction and be unable to properly reset. Take a break from attempting to reset. Make sure to use the most recent reset code.
